Mini Pet Portrait (Three pets)

Hopelessly smitten with your dog, cat, or even your canary bird?
Or perhaps Dad is absurdly proud of his English Setter and impossible to shop for? Problem solved: brighten up the bookshelf with a tiny portrait of the family’s treasure.

Each portrait/pet is about 7 cm tall (give or take, depending on the photo), a petite and personal keepsake. It’s the perfect size for a shelf or dresser — but with a good mount and frame, it can absolutely hold its own on the wall. It is drawn with archival ink on high quality, 100% cotton, paper. 

THREE pets you say?

No problem of course, you can choose to combine them in the same drawing, or as three separate portraits. For separate portraits, there’s an additional fee of 500 NOK because of the extra sets of frames and mount needed.

What’s included

• The original signed portrait, of course.
• A neat little frame in the colour of your choice
• A mount (passepartout) in your preferred shape and shade
• Tracked shipping (within Norway, a flat extra fee of 200NOK/20Euro to any other country)
• 5% artist’s fee (yes, it’s a thing, and yes, I have to pay it)

How it works

• Email your request to hello@lollipoppy.no, and we’ll decide on the timeline together.

• High quality photos first: It all starts with sharp, clear pictures. Ideally, both eyes and fur in focus. Send me a few, and I’ll help you pick the winners.

• Sketch stage: If you don't have a photo with them all, with a good composition, I’ll make a rough pencil sketch of them combined, so you can get a feel for size and expression.

• Deposit: Once we settle on the subject, you pay a 50% deposit. It’s non-refundable — but don’t worry, I’ll do everything I can to make sure you’re thrilled with the result.

• Sharing: I sometimes share the process on Instagram — always with your blessing first.

• Frame & mount: You choose the colours, I’ll send 2–3 options and recommend what suits the portrait best.

• Final touches: Once your portrait is complete and framed, you pay the balance.

• Shipping: Off it goes, safely packaged and trackable via Posten.

• Process video: If OK with you, I’ll make a behind-the-scenes video of your portrait’s creation for my Instagram.
  

Shipping

In Norway, shipping is always free. Your order is sent via tracked post and usually arrives within 3–5 business days, unless «Posten» has other ideas. For international orders, shipping is a flat 200NOK (close to €20), wherever you are, and your package typically takes 7–14 business days, depending on how friendly customs is feeling.
